Yep. the A-5A didn't have the hump on it.

i'll keep BigE on this thread and the 1:350 Coral Sea and 1:350 Tico on the brand new thread. In the mean time 2 Spads and 2 V-birds and 2 Rhinos with 1962 markings on Big E. Yeah that hump on the the v-birds has to be sanded down for the A bird. :wave_1:

I'll kick it around some & see what happens. My 1/542 Forrestal refit/rebuild is going to be a long term project as is the 1/800 ARii Forrestal &Ranger.
The weather out here hasn't been too good so, haven't been able to throw any paint, yet, it is giving me some time to actually work on scraping plastic.... :big_grin:

Curiousity killed the cat... Would the USS Pine Island (AV-12) fall into this catagory?
I do believe it has the SP-5 aircraft.... Been sitting in the stash collecting dust for a little while
