While searching through the topics as preparation to a new project, I came across this one and wondered if there was any progress on this build? Started a long while back, but it looks like an interesting build, so I'm curious.

hi dave,
yes i am useing the booklet of general plans of uss boxer from the floating drydock, and hull plans from them, and the anatomy of the ship uss essex and warships pictorial book of uss ticonderoga, and i also got the uss interpid plans from the floating drydock of 1960s refit for another model, had some trouble with frames but got that sorted, and of course this web site, the model scale is 1/192 and i just got some compartment access plans of uss essex from the floating drydock scale 1/96 huge plans, have to reduce them to 1/192 scale,50% on the photocopier would fix that.
hope this helps cheers matt
