Can ayone advise the best way of obtaining the Russian Cyrilluic Fonts used for ships names on hulls, gangway etc? Also does anyne we know of know who produces such lettering suitable for 1/96 to 1/72 scale ships? Maybe Dave W can give us the benefit of his experience on this one having built KIEV and faced this issue? How will STEREGUSCHCHY's ships name be done?:thumbs_up_1: 3
This is a serious question for scratch builders of Russian or Soviet ships.

Hi Dave May be my own experiences will help .Before building Kiev I painstakingly formed the Cyrillic letters from Litho plate for Kiev I approached "Barry's Lettering" and having the fonts available easily reproduced a set of peel off letters . These can be found at
http://www.modellettering.com/ and where custom made with slightly increased thickness and in the appropriate gold colour. Hope this helps
