Topic review - 3D accessory that were on Shapeway

Last night I ran a 1st print of the Weapon Alpha. I printed (2) of these and it was an 8 hour print run. As I've upgraded my computer to a Win. 11 Dell 7090 Tower and accompanying software (DSM & Chitubox) for parts design/printing, I was basically in "no-man's" land - however, using my tried & true Phrozen Rapid Black resin and settings, these parts printed well -

They are currently drying under the fan and later today I'll remove supports and provide further documentation. The newer version of the slicing software was a bit of a challenge at first, but after about 20 minutes of fiddling with icons, I finally figured the basics out and the results are obvious.

I am not sure about the scale - so, I can only compare these parts to some spare 1/200 scale 5"/38 dual gun mounts that I have in a box that might provide a clue as to whether they are too big (I think so!) or too small. Once the supports come off I can also see if my fine details printed or if I need to do further adjustments in the design program file.

Sorry about the quality of the photos - hopefully, the next set will be a bit easier to look at!!

Pretty much I think I've captured the major details and some of the minor ones on this launcher unit -

The main issue is scaling. For this I referred to the 5"/38 single gun mount base ring of 120" dia. The RUR-4 Weapon Alpha replaced the 5"/38 gun mount #52 and in doing so had to fit within the paratmeters of the existing deckhouse on the 01 Level of the ship. Without any dimensioned drawings, I think what I've come up with will work.

I've still got a few other details to add and it will be ready for a test print (@ 1/200 scale).

Once upon a time vendors on Shapeway market place offered 1/200 Weapon Alpha and 1/200 Seaslug launcher. Since Shapeway effectively went out of business I could not find out who those vendors were and how to contact them.

I am interested in converting Trumpter’s 1/200 Fletcher to a FRAM II version, so I am looking for 1/200 Weapon Alpha.

I also have a long term project to scratch build a county class and HMS Bristol, both in 1/200, so I am looking for a 1/200 seaslug launcher, a 1/200 sea dart, 1/200 limbo mortar, and 1/200 Ikara launcher.

Does anyone know if the are any 3D, resin or other aftermarket sources for these?
