Chris,

I have on my "to do" list a CAD model of pre-Civil War Fort Hoskins, in Benton County, Oregon. The fort site is a county historical park. One of the original 1856 officer's houses still exists - almost unmodified - and we moved it back to the fort in 2012.

We have Army maps and a painting of the fort, plus several books and diaries describing life at the fort. We want to build ghost structures out of pipe to represent the other buildings at the fort.

I have a very detailed CAD model of the officer's house and want to make a model showing the ghost structures for use in grant applications and publicity. Someday.
