Nothing wrong with Tamiya paints. Use them all the time. I would say to buy an airbrush from a local supplier if you can. If not, Bear Air would be one I'd check on. They have an ad in FSM.

Well, its time to buy a kit.

I need help here...what kit should I get? From where? and what paints?

A link would be very helpful.

If it helps, I'm building a USS Hornet, a USS Arizona, a USS Lexington and a USS Pittsburgh this year, starting with my Hornet.

I've tried Airbrush Depot and Airbrush City, but what paints do I use? Currently brushing on Tamiya paints, but want more high tech.
