I wash my photo etch in acetone before starting, put on an old plate and let soak for five or ten minutes. If discolored i VERY gently brush with a soft toothbrush to dislodge stubborn stains. Stuff comes out looking very pretty and shiny.

Hi all, just getting to the point of painting some photo etch parts and i noticed they have started to get a dirty/rusty sort of cover on them. i would say that is from finger prints and such, what should i clean this off with if at all.
