Been my experience that the decks got a slightly bit darker as they aged. The pics of the older Iowas looked a little darker

I'm building the USS New Jersey BB-62 (Tamiya 1/350). I was wondering if you guys think that the Tamiya Deck Tan might be a little too light. I tested it out and if the room is not well lit it's hard to tell it from any other light colors such as the gray. Much appreciated
