Topic review - Paint quantities required for Revell Flowerclass

Post subject:  Paint quantities required for Revell Flowerclass  Reply with quote
I'm currently attempting to build the Revell 1/72 Platinum Flowerclass in the Snowberry fitout.
I was wondering if anyone has built this, (and I know its a very popular build) that can give me some idea on the quantity of each colour that is needed to finish the build?
I'm looking at using the Revell colours given in the manual, (all enamel yuck) and hand painting most of it. I'll attempt to airbrush the hull, first time using it.
Any tips on whether to stick with Revell or use some other brand but most don't have complete colour matches. I'd rather use acrylic paints for ease of clean up etc or is enamel the best way to go?
