Hey all. Was looking to back-date a '44 Fuso to '41. Is this as simple as removing the extra AA and radars, or was there more extensive mods done to the superstructure and directors like what the Ise had?

No idea if there's much of a difference between them
Thanks bob The differences in the superstructure are certainly noticeable, but only you can decide whether it's "worth" getting.

Ach, you're right, that it was. Still, with no place to actually order it, the little "release at..." on the bottom of those images might just be aspirational (i.e. not "released on").

Dear Boys & Girls, given that Joy Yard released their 1/700 scale Fuso & Yamashiro kits (1919 configurations) on 31st May 2022; why isn't there any "buzz" about them in this topic. Have they been reviewed yet? Are they even available outside Japan if there are only 2,500 copies of each being moulded? Am I the only one excited by the prospect of these kits? Will they be made available in the UK?

Hi guys, I´m thinking in buy some upgrade set for the Fujimi Fuso 1/350; which do you think that would be my best option? I know that there is a G-up Fujimi set of PE but there is always out of stock and and this moment I guess that out of the Earth, the next option that I know is this Flyhawk set https://www.scalemates.com/kits/flyhawk ... ts--306666I have another option that you know? Many thanks.
