Hey all. Was looking to back-date a '44 Fuso to '41. Is this as simple as removing the extra AA and radars, or was there more extensive mods done to the superstructure and directors like what the Ise had?

Also the orientation of #3 main mount differs between the sisters.

Hi can someone advise please

I have the Fujimi 1/350 Fuso, is it worth buying Yamashiro?

No idea if there's much of a difference between them

Thanks bob

The differences in the superstructure are certainly noticeable, but only you can decide whether it's "worth" getting.

Ach, you're right, that it was. Still, with no place to actually order it, the little "release at..." on the bottom of those images might just be aspirational (i.e. not "released on").

That release is new to me, Terry. So why haven't we been excited about it? Probably because we didn't know about it! As far as I was concerned, Joy Yard started and ended with their 1/350 Missouri kit...Their website even only shows a not-yet-released 1/350 Montana and 1/700 Soviet destroyer: http://www.joy-yard.com/product_355564_ ... almodule_1

The Fuso isn't listed on Japan's Hobby Search, which is where I go hunt for new releases.

Timmy, I'm sure I saw it announced in the *Inj. molded plastic* Upcoming Ship Kit Releases thread just over a month ago.

Dear Boys & Girls, given that Joy Yard released their 1/700 scale Fuso & Yamashiro kits (1919 configurations) on 31st May 2022; why isn't there any "buzz" about them in this topic. Have they been reviewed yet? Are they even available outside Japan if there are only 2,500 copies of each being moulded? Am I the only one excited by the prospect of these kits? Will they be made available in the UK?

Hi guys, I´m thinking in buy some upgrade set for the Fujimi Fuso 1/350; which do you think that would be my best option?
I know that there is a G-up Fujimi set of PE but there is always out of stock and and this moment I guess that out of the Earth, the next option
that I know is this Flyhawk set https://www.scalemates.com/kits/flyhawk ... ts--306666
I have another option that you know?

Many thanks.

Hey, sorry - of course I don't want to offend anyone! Personally, I would not be either, if someone speaks of us Germans in the context of the war as "Krauts". Therefore, I may not have considered that someone could feel offended by this...

Beautiful. What makes you think they're not putting the hammocks in place?

Hi Dan - of course, we can only speculate on the basis of a picture as to whether it should be attached or removed.
Basically i just found it funny, because after attaching these mattresses to my model i found them more looking like german/turkish kebab
