I have better, Floating Drydock plans showing her as commissioned with 20mm Oerlikon and alternative plans for the as fitted state (3"/50 RF Mark 22 twin guns instead of the 3"/70 Mark 23-26 ones):

Hello I wish to ask if anybody know how the ASROC refit of 1960 of USS Norfolk changed the shape or more precisely the surface of the aft deck of the ship?
Before the ASROC installation there were two RUR-4 Weapon Alpha launchers there one behind the other with the aftermost being sitting just above a deck break or step:

But after the the ASROC refit that deck seems to be reworked to be a smooth straight or maybe angled? surface:

I wonder if the entire 3rd 3"/70 turret got higher due to the deck get higher or there was a sort of cut in bulwark around the turret, or it simply sloped down to the level of the base of the turret?
