Such a thing would be my cup of tea, but a lot of work and planning!
L'arsenal have been quite busy with 1/350 vehicles, who knows?

that would be cool! Build it for me and send it along ; ) No way in hell could I build that to the standard of the ship! Too bad there aren't more 1/350 vehicles. I'd love to have horses pulling a cart with townsfolk.

thanks.... the bike wasn't actually that hard. I have quite a few sheets of scrap PE and was able to find the pieces I needed right off the tree. Two little circles....check....one little 'handle bar' check, one little triangle shape, check...then just glued them together. Painting the inside of the rim silver was the tricky part! The seat is just a tiny blob of glue. The bloody guard house was the HARD part!!! Stripes that small, going around the corners...zig zagging in perfect chevrons. god help me. c

Nice work in any case but a bicycle made from scrap PE in 1/350 to boot. I have the L'Arsenal bicycles and they are too small for me to assemble! Again nice work George

As someone who dabbled in model railroads as well, that's magnificent! The bike? Get out of here. Ridiculous. Kyle

Just a quick detail shot of a new diorama I'm working on for the Graf Spee. Scratchbuilt 1/350 striped guard house with counterbalanced arm for checking papers. That's the guard's bicycle there leaning against the wall. I made it from scrap PE. I tell ya, the Academy Spee is less than "passion for engineering" which is their slogan. It's coming together nicely though. I'm going to make a crowd of people and some German guards as well taking in the spectacle. There's a stone church in the diorama that still needs a frustrated minister who's lost his 'flock' to the giant battleship drifting by. I'm hoping to have a small sailboat to the side with its main sail pulled quickly down, clearing the path for the war machine. Not much to show of the ship, it's in pre-PE construction phase. I swear I'm on my second tube of putty with this thing!
