I'll tell you right now if you did put this on the market I'd pick two of them up to do the Kako and Furutaka. If you could modify the fret for the Aoba and Kinugasa for a 1942 fit, I'd get both of them also. SO... that is FOUR sets you can count on me to get.

If you are willing to buy it don't hesitate to shoot him a PM, trust me!

Question, when you are done with Kako are you going to sell the patent of the set to one of the big companies or are you thinking in joining the competition?

Jose :wave_1:

Well... I'm not preparing any manual for that. And I'm not even sure if there is an interest for such kind of set....

I had a chance to see it today in Bytom. Believe me, photos do not show its real beauty. Simply excellent!

...what size copper wire did tyou use for the reels, and what did you attach the wire to, to create the inside of the wheel?

I use poliester rod as a core and wire to wrap over:

picture from previous project - IJN Chitose:

I'm making long bar wraped over by cooper wire and than glue it in place which is not visible. Then cut for required lenghts.

diameter I used here in this project are : 0,05mm , 0,2mm , 0,26mm

I saw Chris placed short but very instructive tutorial:

What are you using for rigging?

Dan - I use 0,05mm wire for rigging in general. This is tungsten wire - used for production of bulbes filaments. Exceptionally - just for comparison test - I used Caenis Thread for foremast rigging. It's also easy to do however I prefer to work with metal wire. Gives more control. No needs to strech and what is the most important - you can shape it ! In any shape you want.
