Your PE work on the island structure is masterful. That will definately be the focal point of the model.

Odd that they'd have them on the island.[/quote]

The brass mounts for the wire antenna's look very nice. With which set do they come?
Cheers,

Finishing the island. I didn't attached the number '11' PE part. I'll do that after painting that part. Pro. almost every part goes togather very well. and overall looks good. con. 1. Tetra didn't have the spaker part. So I borrowed that from GMM Essex set, also. 2. Tetra provide pre-cut brass rod for HF Antenna. Heard they want to decrease the price of the set. But, I prefer the scribed brass. So I replaced them using HF Antenna brass made by Wolf-pack.

Thanks for the kind word. I've finished the work around stack. There are couple of printing error in this part of instruction. I'll post the correct instruction after finishing the job. When you fold the structure part supporting SPS-29, make sure to fold half etched side inside. I made a mistake and when I revered it, it went apart. The link of PE is easy to broke. Other than that, no difficult work. Work on Wind deflector. Unfortunately, Tetra didn't provide the part for wind deflector. So I made them using extra part from GMM Essex set.

Beautiful! KJ Kim wrote: Radar. relatively easy task except sps-37. There are lots of dipole which is too tiny to assemble. I lost 5~6 of them while I make that radar, but extra dipole is included in the tetra set which gives me a relief. I know your pain. PE has always been very difficult for me to form and attach. When done right, like your work, it's magical.
