Topic review - LCVP 1/144 - 3D modelling and print

Post subject:  LCVP 1/144 - 3D modelling and print  Reply with quote
Iconic landing craft from WW 2, i think that everybody associate it with D-day, Iwo Jima and other important battles with landings. I made 3D model on drawings from net and ordered resin print. Ramp, rear deck, propeller are printed separated from hull and forvard part of deck, mostly for easier painting and better print resolution, for ramp this left possibility to made it up for navigation or lovered for landing on beach.
Painted with enamels.
Added barrels from needles for 0.30 cal and machine gun shields. Lines for manevring landing ramp is from thinest seving line.
Decals are combined from various AFV and planes sets.
Dimension comparison photos and also with big brother, LCM 3
