This is the construction of the old Tamiya 7008 kit of the USS Missouri in 1/350 scale, depicted in the 1945 version. It has been completed with metal guns from Aber and Master Model for the secondary guns. The Eduard Models 53021 set was used for construction. Numerous modifications were also made using scratch-etched parts, adding small details, and the masts were replaced with metal ones. The main radar from the photo-etched set was not used; one was built on a 3D printer, offering better detail. The 40 mm quads did not seem to be the correct size and were also completely replaced with 3D ones. The anchor chains in the anchor area were also replaced with wire ones in different sizes.
The paints used were Atom by Mig and Vallejo. The entire set was completed with oil paints, watercolor pencils, and pastels.
The wires used were 0.10 mm Veevus. The sea base was created using Styrofoam, acrylic paints, and cotton, along with various gloss mediums.
