Very atmospheric! Professional work. I think this kit has great potential if an OOB build is so detailed.

For the smoke, I airbrushed a small piece of cotton. A small piece is best as you have to tease it out a lot. If you don't tease it out it will just look like a lump of cotton. Since the cotton is light I have it supported by a few strands on to the rigging so that it appears to stream out behind.

Very very nice! Great camo indeed! The seascape also looks very good, and its' color fits very well with the colors of the ship. I have never been a fan of cotton smoke, but you certainly succeeded in making it look good in these photo's! Cheers, Marijn

Rick_H wrote: Lovely! What did you use for the lightest color? All airbrushed paints are Tamiya thinned with Tamiya lacquer, either lightened and/or mixed. Hand brushed details and touch-ups were done with Vallejo Model Color, color-matched to the Tamiya. Can't be more specific than that. White is white with a very little black. Brown is NATO brown. Green is Olive Green.

PS - I moved this to the "Completed Models" forum. You had it in the scratchbuilders completed models forum.
