I'm very much familiar with Italeri plastic, and yes, it sucks. But sadly, they're the only game in town for a lot of subjects, and that brand is especially prominent at my LHS (where I got the Biber).

Thx, keep in mind when you're building this one the plastic is brittle. Especialliy around the hammers on the torpedo's and the vanes from screws. These break very easily...
