Here is my 1/720 USS Carl Vinson in 2014 configuration. It took quite a bit of scratch building and modifications to update the Italeri 1999 Car Vinson kit to this configuration. I used upgraded weapons, radars, Nimitz Class PE set, Trumpy aircraft, and some other bits and pieces. It took me just over a year to complete her. I built her for a friend of mine whose son served aboard her in 2014. Thanks for the input during the WIP I posted on her. The advice and feedback was invaluable.
