The most annoying part of this build was realizing the upper and lower hulls don't exactly align all the way around. And the misalignment isn't even consistent. I'd already glued and painted everything on both halves, and gluing top-to-bottom was the very last step. Some putty fixed the worst gaps and misalignments, but there are still a couple of "2-foot wide ledges" along the waterline in spots.
