Thank you. I will try and take some more pictures if the sun comes out somewhere in the future.

Sometimes, that's the most difficult part of a build - when to say "enough"?

Nice work - she looks great.

And some more in order to highlight IHPs very nice hull and deck details.

Hey group, I have finished my first project of the year. It started 14 months ago as a nice and quick build (it always starts as a quick build....) for the carrier builders yard. It took much longer due to a virus and the non-delivery of my invasion stripe decals. It was also a review of IHPs new Colossus class kit. With my reviewers' hat on I'd like to say that IHPs Colossus is a very, very nice kit. It has accurate detail but does not drown the builder in microscopic parts, it has readable instructions and the fit of the parts is extremely nice. Most sponsons have been attached to the hull witout any use of glue. I did deviate a bit from the original kit. I used a shapeways part by Digital Sprue for the bridge as I wanted to do a Korean war version. Tom's Modelworks PE set for the kit was not available yet when I started so most of the PE you are seeing is from L'Arsenal. I would also like to thank Roger Torgeson for sending me a very good picture of Glory in 1951 which made it possible to 'freeze' the project at a certain point in time. Navies always keep changing their carriers so making a decision like that early in the build makes life much easier.
Looking at the pictures I see many things that can still be better but I think it is time to move on. This was a good project.
