As mentioned in previous posts, glad that they are not Too weathered... Questions: What brand and green did you use on those decks?? What's you next project??

Mario

Thank you ,the green I used for the deck was Vallejo # 70968 flat green with a bit of dark sea blue added. next up in my "Ships wot I have seen" theme,is HMS Venus ,Type 15 conversion ,which I saw in the late 50`s,but I didn`t have a camera then!

cheers Phil

ahoi Phil R!

that is a nice pair! good looking ships, well built and looking much like the real thing.
and unlike many models around of modernish RN ships, they are not over weathered and looking tatty!

Thanks Jim , when I saw these vessels they were immaculate ,no weathering ,even around the anchors! Amazing considering they had been on patrol off Iceland during the "Cod Wars"

cheers Phil

These made from Atlantic Models kits.,They are the Leander HMS Charybdis ,and the type 81 Tribal HMS Tartar. They are both excellent kits ,but very challenging to build.I plan on doing all the RN vessels I saw back in the 1970`s
Thanks for looking.
Regards Phil
