I recently acquired a U.S.S. FORRESTAL.She looked like she was at the breakers yard.Everything was there EXCEPT,the flight deck!! She was bought by the MINIATURE SHIP COMPANY(no joke) to convert to a container-MEGA ship!I thought it would make a nice "what if "because of the hull design! So far I have her new maindeck laid out as well as the deckhouse, but I have a ton of client projects to finish.Just thought I would let ya,all know that the most hopeless looking ship model can be converted to a "what if." The "MINSHIPCO SAHARA"Will probably befinished by next SEPTEMBER. Oh, I name all my civilian scratchbuilds after my company and places we all know. commodore4 P.S. the possibilities on yard sale and flea market finds is endless, try it,you,ll like it!
