My late uncle served aboard HMS Howe, I've only got this image of the port side, it might help.

And this one from the starboard aft.

I have no idea of thier original source, just after my uncle died a few years ago I was researching modelling the ship and there was a Yahoo or MSN group about her, I think I found the pictures there but I'm not sure and I don't think the group exists anymore.

Just asking again if anyone has the pattern and colours used for this ship??

I am desprate. What books would it be published in and is there any accurate photos port and starboard of this ship in the above scheme. I have an old KG5 model I have stripped down to repaint over the holidays and it does not look like I will be having much luck.

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me what colours HMS Howe was painted in for this photo of the Suez Canal transit in 1943??

I have noticed some photos are incorrect leading people to model and paint the ship incorrectly. The photo above is correct as there are two anchor stations on the starboard side and only one anchor station on the port side. Some photos of this ship on the net are inverted and incorrectly showing this photo mirrored due to the negative beaing read wrong by some people.

I am very keen to see port side photos of the ship in the same pattern and want to know what colours were used including the steel decks.

I have ordered the Raven books from WEM that should cover this one and knowing my luck will arrive first thing tomorrow morning in the mail or later this week.
