For me, and maybe just for me ...

... the "unpainted" rangefinder hoods and areas beneath are dead giveaways. If this had been b/w footage, the "faker" presumably would have never made the decision to leave these areas in light grey. The reason is, that the RAL 7001 and the RAL 1003 are indistinguishable in greyscale. Never wondered why Prinz Eugen in Gotenhafen b/w photos featured "light grey" horizontal turret tops with dark sloped turret tops?
Even smallest details in the Gneisenau footage appears in colour, and this would have been a heck of work to fake, just for the sake of fooling us? And wouldn't it been wiser to fake Bismarck footage?
