Remember Model Master just released the USN WWII colors in Enamel and Acrylic. Pollyscale was made by Testor's just like Model Master.

The only other acrylic options for paints sold as matching the original colours are the now-defunct Polly Scale and the in-business LifeColor. LifeColor can be hard to find, and you may have to order online.

Sorry if this has been addressed previously but I preparing to build the Trumpeter 1/350 BB55 in the dazzle paint scheme. I've mainly helped my Dad with his railroad layout - airbrushing rolling stock, etc... My question is paint... I know WEM has spot on color matches but I'm curious as to what other brands many of you have used in your builds. I definitely want to stay away from Testors as I've had problems with it lifting. I prefer acrylics but have and used enamels. I mostly airbrush and handpaint when necessary. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
