I don't know if you have this book already, but it should give you some more in depth info.

1914 - 1918. Minenkrieg mit U- Booten. (Hardcover)
by Harald Bendert

Unfortunatley for you, it is in German, but there might be some photos. However, I do not know if there is a photo for your sub. I don't own it (yet).

If you need some technical info: Eberhard Rössler, The U-Boat pg. 44 - 46

And some other book recommendations:

- Die Unterseeboote der kaiserlichen Marine, Eberhard Rössler
- SM UC 71: Das vergessene U-Boot vor Helgoland, Claude Fröhle & Hans J Kühn

Good Afternoon,

Can anyone advise me regarding the camouflage schemes used by this class during 1917-1918.
I recently purchased a Combrig 1/350 UC-56, and the instructions show a black hexagonal pattern over grey above waterline.
I wish to model UC-75 during minelaying operations in the Irish Sea during this period.
Was the above scheme used generally, or did individual u-boats paint camouflage freehand?

Many thanks.
