Hello Rick :wave_1:

Many thanks for your answer!
It does seem logical to me.
Between March and the D-Day in June, the priority was not to repaint the ship, I suppose!

USS CORRY (DD-463) was painted in Ms 22 when lost. I have another image after the first referenced image, dated 18 April 1944, and she was still in Ms 22. I can't explain what the referenced image shows. The image is too far distant and with heavy shadows in play.

Hello everybody,

Yes, out of curiosity I would like to know what camouflage the USS Corry wore when it was sunk of Utah Beach on June 6, 44.
In March 44 he had this camouflage (measure 22? ) after sunk a German submarine.

Three months later the same scheme or then another?

When we look at this photo taken from a distance during its shipwreck, photo of very poor quality certainly, I do not quite understand what the clear strips in front?

I heard about this ship when visiting the Utah Beach Museum during the D-Day festivities.
Does anyone have an answer?

Thank in advance

Alain
