A Grimsby class is one of those planned for next year so who knows?

The 1/350 River class frigate will be available early in 2018.

Work is starting soon on the 1/700 Grimsby class to be followed by a 1/350 version.

Hopefully these will not be the only kits released by Starling Models in 2018, there are plans for future kits but all depends on how well they sell!

Mike

AWESOME. Will be ordering an Algerine & a River Frigate. Thanks for kitting these Mike, lots of history there.

Mike informs me that he hopes to get out
before christmas a 1/350 scale river class frigate.
If that goes well he will produce in 1/700 and 1/350
scale grimsby class sloop!
I will know more when I meet up with him at Telford
11th november.

Put me down for both in 1/350 scale.

And there goes the budget. Again.

Oh, I agree ! Both excellent choices, especially in 1/350th scale.

The River class, in particular, has lots of conversion possibilities.

(And, eventually, he might be encouraged to produce a Loch / Bay class frigate. )

Starling models 1/350 scale Algerine class sweeper.
I got mine yesterday(Friday),and it is a cracker.
All parts very cleanly moulded with a very good instruction booklet,
which contains 3 different camo schemes.
Very many congratulations to Mike of Starling models and Peter Hall
of Atlantic models, for producing a great kit.
