It's good to hear that an online store is reliable. You hear plenty of horror stories.

Thanks.

I just purchased YX Model 1/700 and 1/350 anchor chain from this store. Very good quality, though the chain is shorter length compared to his previous product, apparently the resin is expensive. Delivered to California in one week.

Hobbyeasy.com in HK carries it. They are reliable.

I realize that this is an old thread, but does anyone know if this company is still around? I did some searching, and couldn't find anyone selling their products.

Thanks.

If anyone's still on the fence, here's some I've fitted to a cruiser of mine. The 3D printed chain takes paint (I used Alclad Magnesium as a base) really well and a rusty enamel wash really brings it to life.

Excellent idea of posting pics of the chain actually on the ship model. It really puts the chain in perspective. Looks really good! Needs yet finer chain for smaller ships!

Hello fellow modelers,I will make a short review of a new product from a company called YX

they are offering many accessories, but some of the most desirable are precise made patterned anchor chains, truly a nice development ,from regular brass chain.

They come in 3 different scales
1/700
1/350
1/200

I ordered some and want to show how good is this product,it really enhances the ship and now the chains look right ,compared with brass chain this product is a blessing and those guys from YX just raised the bar for this kind of accessories

the ones I ordered are 1/700 and 1/350, the work on both are exquisite ,but I really liked the 1/350 ,IMHO can be used on Battleships and Aircraft carriers up to Essex Class, for Supercarriers ,I think a bigger chain must be used.
The 1/700 IMO can be used only in BB and CV,but also looks good on 1/350 Destroyers/Frigates,maybe, a bit small for 1/350 cruisers, but the truth is a great option also for them.

Here are some pictures ,I counted for the 1/350 chain 22 links an inch ,on the 1/700 was 30 links an inch

BTW the black chain in the last photo is 38 links per inch, but as you can see ,looks really off :dead: compared with the patterned one.
