It's sitting in a display case. I don't remember any reference to it's provenance or history.

It's also much too small to have been the airplane's nose art. It may have been painted on a seat back or something. Notice the background is O.D. Green.

I think the diver's helmet used to be on display in the fish case at Lakeside Grocery in Lake Forest.

I didn't realize they moved. Does he still drive the 155mm howitzer around?

Amazing to think these are in private hands. Completely de-milled I expect. If one drives north out of Illinios on I-94 just south of the Wisconsin state line is a collection of military vehicles and helicopters sitting in the open. They had to be moved a couple years back from Wisconsin when the local government decided the collection was an eyesore. Some look pretty bad but then exposure to the weather will do that. One pair of items they have is a M113 parked right by a Sky-Crane. It pretty well puts them into perspective size wise.
