This is truely sad.

I have spent the last two weeks absorbing "Nelson to Vangaurd" and "Rebuilding the Royal Navy"

Hopefully his estate will donate his notes to the IWM or some university so they can be available to the coming generations.

It has been reported that D K Brown died yesterday - a great loss for the study of naval history.
