:heh: The decree was made thus it shall be done. It's a team build between Cliffy and me. With the ideas we have thrown around I personally think Cliffy's is going to look so cool. The concept was so much fun that I contributed some of my custom resin pieces for him. I won't spoil the details of his project, but she is going to be fantastic.
I actually misplaced it for a few months and just recently found it buried in a model box. I'm glad Dave is in Japan or he'd probably kill me for that
I deserve it for botching the hull number.

Cliffy-B great thread...

Any thoughts of using a single island like a LHA/LHD would allow more electronic and weapons... would require more scratch building...

The thread is still there  viewtopic.php?f=67&t=51703

Long story short, its on the back burner until after the new year. I was going to start on it in January but NavyDave has decreed that I have to build my proposed DDH version of a Burke before I do anything else so we'll see  Dave did finish painting the flight deck and it looks great save for the botched hull number (thanks to the tape failing grrrrr....). I'll put up a shot of that soon. I actually misplaced it for a few months and just recently found it buried in a model box. I'm glad Dave is in Japan or he'd probably kill me for that

So yeah, the project is not dead, just on hold for a little while longer :thumbs_up_1:
