Hi all! I just completed this tiny model from PitRoad, Reproducing the USS Peiffer as she appeared in the second half of 1945-early 1946. The model received some railings from Eduard (they're nice, but maybe a little bit thicker than WEM or GMM, though they're a lot easier to find here in Italy), brass barrels for the 5/38'' mounts and the SL radar by L'arsenal. EVerything was painted using Mr.Hobby Aqueous colors by airbrush and then I retouched the blastbags, the recoil springs and depth charges with Vallejo using a fine brush. A light black wash enhanced everything, then I sealed all with clear matt from Mr.Color.
