Martin, they look different mostly because of the colours. Aleutians were a bit too cold for the tropical white uniforms :big_grin: Other thing is: I always put a wash on them, makes them 'pop out' Rigging done, bit pathetic, but it's no battleship after all :heh:

Thanks, I always glue them into the seascape with PVA. If the gap is very big I stuff it with cotton and PVA, if not, just PVA from 3/0 brush. Foam covers it up nicely :big_grin:

She looks great. What did you use to fill the gap between the hull and "water"? I always struggle with that. I feel like I get more on the hull and in the gap!

Agree with Martin, that's some beautiful oil canning. Did you shoot through a mask for that, or is it done with pre-shading? Regardless, it works!
