A lot of hard work has obviously gone into building this fantastic looking model :thumbs_up_1: very nice build.

Yup! Stupid Hasegawa never provide any deck decal marking for 1/700 scale and I have to paint it out all.

Been there, seen it, done it with the 1-450 Akagi, all the decals got damp and I had to hand paint the deck, to make things even worse, it was also one of my very first models I built after a 38 year brake in the hobby - Although there's no close up's (which I would like to see of the deck) you still managed to do far, far, far better job then I could have ever done, so it still a BIG thumb's up :thumbs_up_1:

Masking is the key! :thumbs_up_1:

It's lack of decal is compensated by highly detail marking engrave on the flight deck.

Masking is time consuming but if u want accurate marking. U got to do it. I know they is after market full decal sheet for 1/700 Akagi. But I think is not worth paying so much for it. I am a budget modeller.
