Nice progress! Are you planning on building the full ship, or are you doing a set of vignettes based on the images? I'm working on the Bonnie in 1/96. Brad |

First I'd like to thank you for following this project , it's quite appreciated ! MAIN ISLAND STRUCTURE.. (MAY 27th) Today I realize the glued used last time as melt in the styrene , so I decided to remove it and stat applying a new styrene but this by section ! If you like to view the complete WIP on this project , just follow this Google link https://photos.app.goo.gl/sn9TYRzgtaaH59SS9 If you like to view the stuff I have completed so far, just follow this link https://photos.app.goo.gl/KeUxQzjhxGm5zeYC7 Hope you will enjoy this project ! I can't tell how thick the plastic is, but it looks like 0.020" or 20 thou. You need to use at least 40 thou, or even better, 60 thou. I used 20 thou on a 1/96 ship model many years ago and it warped and fell apart because it was too thin. |

I agree on the use of at least .040"(1mm) styrene as that is what I use on my 1/144 scale ships. |
