Kennylibben , the boat is completely airbrushed , I do not like to paint with brushes , I always make such a mess with brushes.

Lozza1981 , not only figures ,I am building , but the funnels , boats , winches , armament , capstan ,...etc.

regards,

Ludwig

Absolutely amazing work... wish I had the room to build ships in this scale! The availability of 1/35 military figures, weapons, etc. must be very handy.

Is this the same class of ship as the one represented by the Heller 1/400 kit? I was thinking of building one of those in 1/200 some time in the future.

Yes it is the same class of ship as Heller has in their 1/400 range. Kit nr HE81011 T-23 in 1943.

Kennylibben , lots of work had already been done before the hull was completed , tomorrow I have to go to work again , holiday is over , not that much time for building on the ship.

regards,

Ludwig

hallo all, :wave_1:

It has been a while , but I had to do some interior decorating. :censored_2:
I should have known there was something behind all those complements I received from my wife regarding my paintwork.

Some more photos:

the complet port side finaly painted , you may notice there is a new paint used , I was not satisfied with the green/grey colour. I used Humbrol Oxford blue instead.

The complete starboard side

Next step is varnishing/ wheatering giving the ship/boat a complete worn look. Also the glass in the scutles will be done.

enjoy,

Regards

Ludwig,

Like all of us, I am most impressed!

Could it be possible to have more detail on the vacuforming process you obviously mastered ? Most of the photoghaphs you posted previously of your equipment have been deleted from Photobucket.

Many thanks in advance.
