My son Alex, finished designing anchors for Olympic, Titanic and Britannic. They are up on the Tom's Modelworks website now. Very strange that the new Hobby Boss 1/700 kits didn't come with these anchors. Of course, I couldn't find them in the Trumpeter 1/200 scale directions either. I think the part is actually there somewhere, though. Still, he designed the part in 1/200 scale so they are available too. The Minicraft kit anchors are awful so we made 1/350 scale sets also.

A bit of a learning experience... Titanic and Olympic originally had the same anchors but Olympic's were changed sometime before she got that great camo scheme. Britannic had the same ones as Olympic did after the change. That center anchor in the well at the bow was not the same as the ones in the hawsepipes. It was almost twice as heavy and would have been quite the job to deploy using the crane at the bow and a cable stored somewhere below. No-one thinks it was ever used. Anyway, The Hobby Boss kits can now have nice accurate anchors.

Also, a new PE set specifically for the 1/700 Hobby Boss kits of Titanic, Olympic and Britannic has been drawn and is being etched now. Should be available in a couple of weeks.
