Thanks Jorit, much appreciated, you should get a nice reply, Colin is duty manager from tomorrow, so IF ANYONE ELSE would like to send emails he will get back to you from Monday, I am there all weekend flying the flag as I help out anyway being ex RN and served on Plymouth's sister ship Rothesay from 1987 to 1988 on that ship's last commission, Rothesay sailed something like 500, 000 miles in her commisssion if not more, Plymouth went further I beleive, lets see if we can mae her go even further.

Cmon guys give us a hand to save these ships.

Best regards, Paul...

No problem and that goes for anyone else who is able bodied and wants a sneaky tour of what is not normally available, just email Colin,

We still have to abide by the rules though for health and safety so in some areas we may only be able to take one or two at a time.

Victorious said he would be down this weekend, keep an eye out for a rough looking matlow stoker, he could still have a black face, :lol_3: :lol_3: :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:

My support to Colin went in three days ago, and I have already had eight replies from members of Wirral Council on the list.
Up to press, every reply has been good, they all want to save the ships.

To psships.

I'd just love a special tour on the U-Boat, ex submariner, served on Taciturn, Oberon (now at Chatam) and Dreadnought. Been to Birkenhead quite a few times, but never got chance to look inside U 534.

Geoff

On behalf of the Belgian Navy, you folks have my full support!!!
After all, the BN was once a part of the RN (Royal Navy Section Belge) and I'm, together with my father a real RN fan.
I think I once visited HMS Plymouth, I'm not sure since I was only nine or ten, but it was a Falkland veteran Leander, hit by bombs, with the entry holes painted on her sides. Is that her?
I'm afraid I wont be able to visit her, exams you know, but please take some pics!! Would it help if I sent someone an e-mail?

One for all, all for the ships!!

Johan

Did someone start a thread over at SN to ask for support notes?
I shall get in contact with Modellmarine and Modellversium today...
Lets see, if we can raise our voices loud enough....
