Your guess is as good as anyone else's There are some picture in Stern's Lexington Class book, which seem to show the number of cables varied, depending where on the hull they were.
Chris Smithers built a 1/350 Lex and made an educated guess on the degaussing cable here:

There are wreck photos too, but they only show snippets of the cable.
