Thanks, Mike. Thanks, Richard.

Mike, these are my first pics of the completed dio and aren't the last. It was cloudy the day that I took the ones, above, and bright sun light is best, I find, for editing the pics into grayscale and sepia and adjusting the contrast. More pics to follow.

Here some better pics with better outdoor sun light. These are the color ones, of course. B&W more realistic pics to come, soon.

Here is the overall layout of the diorama...........

Astonishing, absolutely superb. I may not bother with a 1/144 version, I couldn't come close to the detail.

You sir are....are....I hate you....

You're making me wanting to abandon 1/700 and buy several of your AVP kits!!!!! Must resist!!!!

Keep it up man, those photos make them look superb! Question, have you tried taking any using late afternoon light so you that have that nice "yellowing" effect? I'd love to see some like that. Take a look at this video to see what I mean, I can't stop watching it its just so nice! Wait until near the end when they do the low and slow pass around them :cool_1:

Thank you, doog! I'm glad to hear that you've considered an AVP model, no matter the scale. I'd love to be able to help you with a 1/350 build.

Mike,

Don't hate me 'cause I'm beautiful! :heh:

I like 1/700, myself. But, these AVPs are about all that I'd want to do in 1/350. There may be a few exceptions to that, though.

I'll keep in mind the evening sun light. I'm suspecting a problem with that lighting and the background photos that I'm using. One time, I tried the opposite...........a sunset bacground photo with regular lighting on the ship. It didn't turn out very, well.

Let me know when you get serious about a 1/350 AVP build for you very own. :wave_1:

That's Trumpy's new 1/16 "Jolly Green" lighter kit. I'm afraid you painted it the wrong color Carl :heh:
