Some of the main structures of the flight deck. Didn't look great with primer on and had to rework quite a bit at joints. Have been using Mr. Primer Surfacer 1000 and really like it.

Wow, I just love the appearance of the bow, windlass, ladder to flight deck, etc. That's clean, crisp work and details.

Life boats installed. Added 9m cutters and attached them to overhead davits. Rigging done with blank and white Infini Ultra Fine Lycra.

Just the other day, fiddling around with my Aoshima Akitsu Maru 1944 in the stash.

I started this kit a couple of weeks ago. Really nice kit (the resin hull is really well done) but the instructions could be better. Thanks for posting your log which is a really helpful resource -- along with being inspirational given how well yours came out.
