That PE really dresses those aircraft up nicely. Nice job on bending it to shape as well - always a f**king hassle.

Great details, and very nice weathering of the hangar floor! :thumbs_up_1:
The vehicles and props show how large this space was (easily forgotten in 1/350), and the weathering helps to break up that vast expanse a little.

That looks great. Love the wear and tear on hangar floor and bulkheads.

I have a question about the tractors: did you find mention of them in your research? My understanding is that they didn't show up in the fleet until 1943, and they were initially Army jeeps that the crew of CV-10 "borrowed" from a parking lot. It'd be interesting if CV-5 did carry them, and I'd think it may be possible, since that farm tractor was spotted on the wreck of Hornet (used to move about the B-25s, I'd bet), but of all the photos of Yorktown that I've seen, I've never see one with a jeep/tractor.

Dear Devin thank you for your comment and support.
For the tractors and jeep...l saw the Hornet's picture of the tractor, so l presumed that Yorktown had a couple of them too...for the jeep...well l just made a decision to borrow one from Pearl Harbor   ...l know it's not historically correct or l don't have a picture to support that...but l found it cool to do it...

That's justification enough! They do add a lot of character.
