Dear all here is today's update on the carrier for the diorama battle of Coral Sea...l finally finished all deck's breaks and nets...and l started deck's landing lights( original photo as reference). Have a nice evening.

So here is today's update on the carrier for the diorama battle of Coral Sea. I placed all starboard's deck lights. Note also the lights at stern and bow..enjoy.

Dear all here is today's update on the carrier...l finally placed all the lights on the main deck..l had to make a little modification at the stern since deck's model kit was a bit too short..enjoy

Dear all here is today's update on the carrier for the diorama battle of Coral Sea...l started painting port's structure...l found here and there some little mistakes that l corrected them...so enjoy

Looks amazing. Are you going to mist coat the lower section to blend it in more?

The upper part is almost done will do some very light color modulation and of course filtering and weathering.
For the lower part the color will be dark blue grey.

Dear all here is today's update on the carrier for the diorama battle of Coral Sea. I put the first color on the flight deck and placed the flak covers(l suppose) on the railings..enjoy.

I think you mean splinter mats.

Awesome job on the mottled paint effect. I usually see this done on aircraft models, looks great on a hull too!

would have been painted the same color as the vertical sides depending on the measure number she was in at that battle.
