I didn't bother to take any build up shots. But this is where I stand at the moment.

Then I painted the flight deck and started shading, more 5N to follow.

I really like the way my flightdeck is coming along. Perhaps not as good as others on the forum,but still. I used primer, then satin black, then 4 different shades of tan, then a light coat of mr color navy blue (which is almost the same shade as 20B). I have to hit it with a second coat of blue

What colour did you use for the shading, if I may ask?

I just use satin black. It seems to work fine. Here it is with more post shading, lightening and darkening certain spots.
