Well, I've lengthened a Burke to Tico length, modified its bow to look like a Tico, and will conceive of it as a littoral combat gunship. Main armament will be a scratchbuilt 8" railgun forward.

Added two scale 30' sections, show here:

That may be fun, which Burke are you using as a basis? What proportion of the original parts do you plan to use?

Dragon 1/700 Pinckney. I'll be using most of the original parts, modifying some. About the only extras I will be adding are JAG's SeaRAM.

Profile. In general, I think modern ships are nowhere as good looking as the classics, but I think adding the two scale 30' sections really helps create a graceful look.
