I'm building a 1/700 USS Montana and I thought I'd post my progress here. Like I said previously, I'm kitbashing a Tamiya Missouri kit. Here's a list of all the parts I'm using:

Tamiya USS Missouri Hull
4x16 inch gun turrets from 2 Mo kits
2x Aft funnels from Tamiya
Modified Mo bridge
40mm guns kitbashed from Skywave and Dragon parts
20mm guns from Dragon kit
Tom's Iowa class PE

All other parts are OOB from the Mo kit. So far I've lengthened the hull and added the armor belt. Here's some pics:

Soon, I'll install the deck and begin the supertsructure. The superstructure will be almost entirley scratchbuilt, except for the bridge and funnels. It's been a pretty straighforward conversion so far. :thumbs_up_1:

The Montana's have always been one of my favorite never were's, Have you done anything further on this conversion?
