 Post subject: 1/350 Richelieu wip

my local hobby pusher had this one on sale last week so i snatched it up right away. unfortunately there is very little reference material on the web. so i had to use a bit of artistic lisense on the stern and with the colours
aside from a few touch ups i am pretty happy with the way the paint has turned out on the hull. usually when i start a build log it is the kiss of death for that model, so i am hoping that this one will be different.
please feel free to comment, i only have about one and a half ship models under my belt so any constructive comments are welcomeImage

CLEAN PAINTWORK!!

depending on how far you want to ' accurize' ...

there are a number of mods that ca be achieved...

But overall the model captures the look!

here is a fine model of Richelieu in 1/700

I agree that is one top-notch paintwork!!! Anyone knows how you could reproduce this effect without an airbrush?

i dont think it is possible to get the same effect without an airbrush
so ship it to me Sylvain it was alot of fun to paint and i would love to do it again. :cool_2:

a small update. i managed to get the camouflage fixed and paint on the superstructure. here she is with some of the major bits placed on, just to see how it is going to look
