I don't get much time to build anymore, but I had to build me a model for the Chimo box art. I won't attempt to review it as that should be left to others. All I will say about the build is that it is 14.5" long and everything you see is OOB, except for the rails, crow's nest rigging, and base. For some odd reason, the first shot is cut off at the bow. Don't know why. If you wish to see a LOT more photos, go here: http://s46.beta.photobucket.com/user/shipmodeler123/library/Chimo Please forgive some of the photography as I am still getting accustomed to my new camera.

Looks great!

By the way, the images won't be chopped off to the right if you use one of the other board styles that have the user information displayed on the left, such as subsilver 2.

The image in Photo bucket is fine. It just got "cropped" when I placed it here. I have noticed this happening several times recently here. It doesn't happen anywhere else I post. Go figure.

Ditto. It was driving me nuts too until I figured it out and changed the style.

I mean the board style on this forum - just change the settings I mentioned via the User Control Panel at the top.

Another great looking kit Rusty!
Can't help but think what on earth was the USN thinking when they built her. All open decks, no protection from enemy fire and open bridge. Must have been a real joy for the crew to go into battle.
